Pros: Excellent Picture quality, low light performance. Good Camcorder
Cons: Ridiculous limitations of burning onto permanent DVD-R
Hitachi DZ-MV580A technically is a fine product. Ability to record onto DVD-R is a major problem. Good picture quality, very good low light performance. Easy to use, concept of DVD being finished product the reason I bought it, but Hitachi says Maxell media only. No substitutions will work, period. Maxell media is very expensive and hard to find. No other DVD-RAM or DVD-R will work? Preposterous!! Would never have purchased product had I known.
