The HP photo smart I bought as a replacement to my cannon that was lost/ stolen I'm not sure which, anyways I purchased this camera at Office Depot for $90.00 and that was a great deal for such a camera, many people I am sure are unaware that this thing does long video shoots and had sound as well. The picture quality is great it has a 6.2 mega pixel rate and that is sufficient for this unit. I have taken all kinds of photos with it it just has no power cord that you use when the batteries go dead although it only take two double A's they must be designed for camera use, those Rayovac's from wall mart wont cut it. As for the SD card its located inside the battery housing what is up with that? Overall you get a lot of camera in digital format fro a small amount of money. I have recently been doing video to create a movie with this camera and it is working out to my advantage and the upload from the camera are smooth just take out the card and pop it in your CPU if your set up that way. I say it's worth the money and it's pretty much kid proof. The big drawback to this unit is that you have use the viewfinder in back to take a picture nothing else is there for you to look through.
