Top of the line.

Pros: Great battery life. Awesome wireless. Great color display. Nice case.

Cons: It will soon be outdated. Screen is much too bright and affects some games.

The Bottom Line:
I recommend this product, because you will never look back and wonder why you bought it.

Author's Review
This Ipaq is in league with many small laptops by ibm's thinkpad standards. With 128 MB SD-RAM and a 400 mhz processor it's catching up with my win2k machine.

The tech specs are all here, but what about actual usability information.
- This pda can be used a remote control
- Can be used a digital camera
- Can be used with a keyboard to type out long documents
- Already been said, but yes you can play movies on the pda. I was able to compress the second harry potter and the pirates of the carribean onto a 512 sd card. The quality was impecable and put the Ipaq 3835 to shame.
- You can easily watch stocks and investments.
- Easily handle email and browse the web.

AlSO more information on Bluetooth:
Bluetooth is a radio form of wireless. It works on the same frequency as RF and works usually up to 33 feet. That's my room, the living room, bathroom, and kitchen all under the bluetooth range. What you do is get a bluetooth enabled device ( such as your computer with an adapter... newegg.com has plenty of choices when it comes to that ), then you turn on your ipaq's bluetooth and voila you are connected to the internet ( assuming your computer's internet is on ). I was in awe that I was able to listen to the Glenn Beck program while walking around the house and was also able to stream my whole music and cd collection from my computer. Also my bluetooth enabled printer at home and at school put to rest all my suspicions of the quality and reliablity of bluetooth. If you want low range and high speed wireless give bluetooth a try.

Other than that, c'mon ppl $650 is not that bad for a pda. Heck I paid $450 for my ipaq 3835 and it did squat.

If you have the money and are interested in a great pda, please do yourself a favor and avoid the Sony Clie and go with the HP Ipaq 5555. BTW, compact flash is going outta style and many companies are starting to move to SD Cards. Since they are now at a gig of space
