Pros: Superb graphics, atmospheric sound, balanced game play, tons of creatures and depth... Cons: ... requires an enormous time commitment, cut scenes leave a lot to be desired... Bottom Line: Ubisoft Keeps The Heroes Flag Flying
Pros: Nice new graphics. True to spirit of series. At least it didn't die with 3D0 Cons: A bit of needless bloat. A few questionable steps towards the generic. Bottom Line: A good game, but not what I spent years waiting for.
Pros: Good graphics, lots of creatures, interesting specials Cons: tedious micromanagement reintroduced, lack of resource scarcity, removal of hard decisions that drove strategy Bottom Line: A wait that was worth it.
