Pros: good technology
Cons: warranty service is the worst I have ever come across in my life
While HP does produce quality material, it has what I believe to be the worst customer service I have ever encountered.After
having my notebook sent to a warranty repair I received it with very bad packaging . As I turned on the hard disk HP had replaced made a really noisy rattle.Two weeks later my Pavilion just stopped working.
Once again I set out to contact the HP service center in India.After seven calls, some taking as much as one hour and ten minutes of waiting I finally got through to some one who told me HP would call me back in 24 hours.
To make a very long story short, I had to file a formal complaint in the local Better Business Bureau before I could get them to respond.
I will never ever buy a product from HP again as I see no point in paying new product prices and getting a warranty that, in practical terms, does not exist.
To be fair to HP they did offer to refund me on the extended warranty I purchased.
