Pros: Design, touch pad, sound, recording capabilities, price, appears as hard-drive.
Cons: Documentation really not ready for the impatient or inexperienced. Too sensitive touch-pad.
I was very disappointed when I first tried this recorder/player. Then, after going to the MPIO website, I spent quite a while trying to find and learn how to upgrade the firmware and downloading a readable manual, my opinion changed. It has all the amenities: line-in, mic, FM recording, and pretty good FM reception, lots of EQ settings and a readable screen. It is not a good out-of-the-box experience, but appears worth the effort to learn how to use it.
