Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe - Shadow
We needed to buy a stroller and a baby car seat with our first on the way, so we decided to by the stroller/baby car seat combination. We wanted a stroller that would last not only our first child, but more that would come. We bought the Graco stroller and have been pleased ever since. We paid about $250 for the combination. The Graco stroller is designed to fit, and lock in the Graco baby car seat in place. The back of the stroller seat can be set in many different angles, or be dropped for a comfortable bed. The safety bar /cup holder can be released so that a younger child can climb in the seat without having to lift them in. It will also lock where a child would not be able to release it. One of the best features for this stroller is how smooth and sturdy it is when you push it. The sun guard is nice. It has a black sunroof where you can check on your baby. It is very dark and can be hard to see through, but it is dark enough to keep all harsh sun off your baby. There is a lot of undercarriage storage that will easily fit about anything you need to take with you in a stroller. There are also a few smaller storage bins and a couple cup holders by the handle, these are very convenient. The wheels will hold up for a long time, but are soft enough to give a little for a smoother ride. The back wheels have a brake that locks both of them down. The front wheels can be locked where they are always facing forward. This is nice when you have to place in a car so it won’t move. The car seat is very simple to put up and down. To put it up all you have to do is grab the handle and extend it into the upright position. It automatically locks itself into this position. To fold it down, all you need to do is push a lever on the handle and twist a small part of the handle forward a quarter of a turn. This releases the lock and will fold down very easily. It also has a clip to lock it into a folded position. The one negative thing about the stroller is the size when it is folded down.
We recently went to Disneyland and Sea World and took this stroller. At times we had two toddlers, and our bag along with everyone else’s in our stroller. I was very surprised how smooth it was to push with all that weight in it. It held up very well and exceeded my expectations. We have used it quite often for 18 months, and it rides just like the first time we used it. This is a great stroller for the price. It is smooth and very durable. If you are looking for a small folded stroller, or have a small vehicle, this may not be the stroller for you. We have a midsized car and it takes up about half of our trunk space. I am glad we made a smart purchase on this stroller, and defiantly recommend it.
