2003 ENVOYThe 2003 GMC Envoy is a mid-size SUV newly available this year with a V8 engine. A 4-door with solid towing ability and a good deal of room for 5 passengers and plenty of gear, the 2003 GMC Envoy will certainly fit the bill for the SUV buying demographic who want rugged ability in a stylish and luxurious package.

Pros: Size, Comfort, Style
Cons: Options packaged together instead of individually
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend the Envoy to everyone that doesn't want to drive a bus (Suburban, etc..). Seats 7, great versatility, and superb style at a reasonable price.
I wanted to write to share with everyone what a wonderful new vehicle we just purchased. The GMC Envoy XL (SLE version) is worth all of the money that we spent. First off, we are latecomers to the SUV scene, and with so many to choose from, it was tough to make a decision. However, the Envoy's style, handling (like a sports car!), and power really sold us. We elected the SLE version only because the options we wanted, such as the entertainment package with DVD player, are no longer sold a la carte, but instead are packaged together with other less desirable (to us) options like ONSTAR. However, if you are willing to give up electric leather heated seats, the SLE offers great comfort. The 3rd row seating really does fit 2 tall adults comfortably. And the ride is smooth, with no rattles or noise at all.
