At 6foot 6 inches, I have always looked for driver comfort. As a physician, gardener and traveler, I demand all the space I can get. The Yukon XL has that and more. I love the way it intimidates other cars on the road, I love the shorter turn radius, availability of a sunroof and On-Star. This is a big man's car that my wife loves to drive. If you're going to buy an SUV, this is the one! Smaller gas tank may be a bit of a negative but moving the spare tire makes up for it. The basic, well-tested truck chassis and drive train should limit shop time and repairs. Styling is superior to the Suburban.at least for this model. It's difficult to say anything negative about this unit.
