Pros: Most features I've seen in a GPS priced below $250 and getting cheaper each day.

Cons: Discontinued. The hotdog sized 12v plug is a little on the long side, 4.5 inches.

Bottom Line:
More features than you would normally expect in a navagation system priced below $250. Easy enough for anyone to operate from out of the box without consulting the owners manual. Read More at Epinions.com

Nuvis are for consumers

Pros: Excellent form factor, sensitive receiver, quick turn on, simple interface

Cons: Poor speakerphone, can't configure display fields, no carrying case, tech support full of itself.

Bottom Line:
Inexpensive and feature laden, it provides excellent value.  For reasons related to Garmin having changed the GUI  I would buy this over the later 765 and 1300 series units. Read More at Epinions.com

Cons: Routes are "iffy", Blue tooth/FM transmitter don't work

Will the Array of Features Make It Good?

Cons: Map screen lacks directional arrow, battery life

Pros: Excellent windshield mount,  Good color and clarity.

Cons: Text-To-Speech feature doesn't always work, Weak FM transmitter,  System stalls, No AC adapter.

Bottom Line:

While Garmin usually does a wonderful job with their GPS units, the 760 is the exception.
