Super accurate device - But lousy TOPO map. Ouch$$!
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Very accurate GPS location and tracking. Floats. Standard batteries. Good PC software.
Cons: Expensive. Menu system hard to learn. Separately purchased Topo map is way outdated.
Bottom Line:
Great all-around choice for hiking, boating, driving, etc. Super accurate and tracks very well in heavy cover and moving vehicles. Topo map is not wonderful. You'll need City software too.

I recommend this GPS. Be prepared to purchase some additional software if your mapping requirements exceed interstates and major highways.
