Universally known for great color and performance, Fuji has also made a name for itself in the digicam arena by offering consumers digicams of consistently good quality at very affordable prices. Maintaining a good balance between quality and portability, Fuji's FinePix digicam line is populated with compact, travel-worthy digicams that take great pictures. The new A200, positioned at the entry level point-and-shoot end of the FinePix line, features a 2.0-megapixel CCD and a pared-down user interface perfect for novices. Although the A200 has only a fixed-focal-length lens and less image control than many of the FinePix digicams, its point-and-shoot simplicity will appeal to a wide audience of consumers, especially at its very low retail price. Fuji FinePix a200

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Compact Size, Zoom, small memory card, nice and clear images

Cons: Can only record video for 20 seconds at a time.

The Bottom Line:
Again, this camera is perfect so just about anyone unless they want LARGE portraits or professional pictures.

Author's Review
I got this camera for christmas, and for the price it is GREAT.
First off, it comes with a small sized 18mb XD picture card.
You can purchase up to 128mb for this camera.
I bought a 64mb card and it holds 101 high quality pictures, and this is enough for me.
The origional card holds around 25 high quality pictures.
I took some pictures and they came out really clear at 5 by 7 and even 10 by 8 was still nice.
This camera is a good choice for beginners and intermediate photographers.
If you want professional looking pictures, or really large portraits, you should shoot for at least 3 megapixels.
The flash works well indoors.
I heard one review at another site that said the flash doesn't work well but I took pictures with flash indoors where you could barely see the subject on the screen and they came out nice and visible.
The video features are cool.
You can take 20 seconds of video at .3 megapixels, and this is fine for sending a short video online.
You can record roughly 1 minute on a 18mb card and about 4 minutes on the 64mb card.
The webcam feature is really nice, but if you plan to use this, you should shoot for the AC adapter or lithium batteries because they will be drained.
Overall, this camera is really nice and works great.
It isn't very complicated and I do recommend it to just about anyone that wants nice 6X4 or 8X5 pictures.
If you want to send clear pictures online, this is great.
I don't see a lot of downsides to this camera for my useage.
