The Bottom Line:
For those who want a really fine piece of equipment, easy to use and relatively inexpensive this is, in my opinion, the best choice on the market at this time.
After a lot of research I stumbled onto Cnet.com which has extensive info and revies of cameras and suppliers. The Fuji 3800 had 33 positives with no cegative. LOw price of $297 and high of $445. Buydig.com (Worldwide direct) checked out with no compaints. Ordered and Three (3) days later it arrived at regular shipping price of $9.95, no surcharge. Evrything new and complete. Took pictures within 15 minutes, great. Learned more in next two days reading excellent little book.
Just converted from medium high level 35mm (40 years of many good cameras)and am delighted. Also highly recommend Buydig.com. The electronic viewfinder could be a problem in low light; but, by aiming over the top and using LCD monitor the shots were fine. Optical would be nice. The optical zoom, on the other hand, is fantastic, unbelievable.
So no negative on camera or supplier, buydig.com.
