Ford's new-generation Mustang is an amazing blend of the better of two different worlds. It looks very much like the late-‘60s Mustangs that were so popular in their day, while it drives exactly like the fully contemporary performance coupe it is. For 2005 came the ultimate accolade to those much-loved first-generation Mustangs on a substantially superior platform. It looks so much like the ‘67-'70 Mustangs at first glance that you have to look again (and know what you're looking at) to realize it's the new one.

Pros: So much fun everytime. Never got old
Cons: Passes anything but a gas station.

The Bottom Line:
Buy it only if you're completely financially secure and can afford gas prices going up and up.
So I graduated from college and decided to treat myself to my dream car, a 2005 Ford Mustang GT in "Sonic Blue". It was already 2007 when I bought this car but it only had 9500 miles on it and had not been driven in any Michigan winters as of yet. I budgeted for the payment and insurance, but let me tell you the posted gas mileage of 24 MPG is only applicable for people who have enough self control to never use the gas pedal.
That's about the best feature of this car. I had never driven a sports car before buying this one, and I had always wondered what it would be like to punch the gas in a vehicle with some teeth. Myself and any of my friends that I let drive this car had the exact same reaction everytime they accelerated - a smile. If you relax your neck your head will suction onto the headreast and the sound is truely majestic. Nothing compares to that feeling. It's a true sports car.
I loved everything about it, it passed everything but a gas station, I traded it for a 4 cylinder Mazda and never looked back. Got it out of my system until I'm wealthy enough to not care about the gas and store it in the winter, then I'll be back
