Ford's new-generation Mustang is an amazing blend of the better of two different worlds. It looks very much like the late-‘60s Mustangs that were so popular in their day, while it drives exactly like the fully contemporary performance coupe it is. For 2005 came the ultimate accolade to those much-loved first-generation Mustangs on a substantially superior platform. It looks so much like the ‘67-'70 Mustangs at first glance that you have to look again (and know what you're looking at) to realize it's the new one. Minimize

Author's Review
I bought my 2005 Mustang in Sep 05 and have never winter driven it. Yes I live in Canada with the snow. It is now 3 years old and has only22000kms on it. I have the same problem that a previous review mentions and I quote from their review

"Whenever I have been driving it for sometime, especially on the freeway, at times when I exit the highway, slow down either to an intersection or a stop, the Mustang has a huge hesitation when I accelerate. Sometimes, it is so noticeable that it feels like I turned off the ignition for a second and turned it back again. The car acts like it is going to stall. This has happened to me several times now"

Mine also seems to hesitate when you try to quickly accelerate to change lanes or pull out in front of another fast moving vehicle. I am not sure whether this problem is a hesitation in the engine or if it is the transmission slow to down shift. My 1981 Toyota Celica Supra doesn't have this problem and neither does my 2006 Ford Escape. It is very noticable in the 05 stang. Don't know if the two hesitation problems are related and I am going to take it to the dealer tomorrow to see if they can fix either problem. (hope they don't charge me as I am 1-2 weeks past the first 3 year warrenty even though I only have 22000km on it.
