Ford Focus continues to be one of the most enjoyable compacts in its price range. Overall, it feels cushier than other compacts, both in terms of its comfortable seats and its soft suspension. Its fun to drive, however, with agile handling. Its comfortable on long trips and stable at high speeds. The Focus is among the best of the compacts in terms of ride quality and has been lauded by the enthusiast publications for its handling. For 2004, Ford has revised the steering and suspension to further improve the ride and handling.

Pros: gas mileage, decent power
Cons: extremely annoying loud blinker!
I bought my Ford Focus a couple of years ago from a Ford Dealership. It had 30,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has over 60,000.
When I first got the car I noticed the trunk leaked. I did have to make a couple of trips to have it fixed, but they did accomplish it and I have had no problems since.
Pretty good gas mileage. I get around 28-31mpg. I have had NO major problems. I did have a wheel bearing go out last week.
The trunk is spacious. I have 3 kids (ages 6-14) that fit 'okay' in the backseat when we all travel as a family.
The car has very good pick up speed. I easily can pass slow people;) The brakes work very well also.
I love my car! I had a Ford Escort previously and this is so much better and has so much more power for a small car.
