They will even discover what some of them feel like with Touch & Feel Animals. They will love to touch the "cottony" cow, "hairy" horse, "woolly" sheep, "velvety" chicken and the "squiggly" piggy tail! Animal sounds can be activated where the horse, cow, sheep and pig live, and when you move the chicken along. Move the chicken along to send Farmer Jed down the slide or play peek-a-boo with the barn doors. As toddlers grow, they'll learn about life on a farm that's just their size, with Farmer Jed and his animal friends!

Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm Playset - K7925
As a first time mother, I am learning a whole world of products which I am quickly learning with my 1 yr old, includes a great line of toys from Fisher Price known as Little People! My daughter was 10 months old last Christmas & got a lot of "Little People" toys, one which included this Fisher Price Animal Sounds Farm.
I thought it to be a very cool gift, but she never played much with it until the past few months. I guess at that age, she was just too young for it. So first off, my recommendation is that it is age appropriate for children over 18 mo, although the age range states 1-5 years old (guess different babies are different) but I noticed my niece also did not start becoming interested in it until after 18 mo...
Now, because of this farm, I am a HUGE "Little People" fan.. this toy is now one of her favorite things to play with & there really is quite a bit to do with this farm.
First off, the farm comes with a pig, a sheep, a cow, a goat, a horse & a farmer...There are many different sounds. If you swing open the yellow gate where there is a picture of a pig, there's an oink-oink, place the sheep on the hay (also has a picture on the wall) you hear baa-baa...swing open the white doors, the one with a picture of a cow moo's, the one with a picture of a horse hee-haw's! There is a sliding chicken in the loft & you can slide him from side to side to hear him cluck & some cool music too... On the side there are little doors that slide back and forth that have pictures of big chickens & baby chickens & big bunnies & baby bunnies..Off to the side is the big part of the barn & there is a hole that my daughter likes to drop the animals down & then there is a sliding upward door to see the animals..
The barn is very colorful & has a lot of engraved detail such as a rope haging, grass, flowers wooden floors...
I absolutely love this farm & considering they run around $30, think it is worth the money spent! Great product!
