Pros: I can easily destroy confidential papers and not worry about someoen being sneaky
Cons: none
We have this shredder in our office just for occasional shredding of confidential papers. Mostly we keep all papers here at work in storage and its a mess! But sometimes there are things they dont want binded and stored, so off to the shredder I go. Here are some of this Fellowes Powershred PS 80 features:
It comes with a paper holder to catch all the confetti in. It also comes with 2 plastic bags to put in the container to catch your confetti so that you dont have little shreds of paper all over the floor. One time I forgot to put the container back after I took it out to dump the confetti. There were little shreds of paper all over the copy room floor and my boss was pi$$ed!
It never has jammed on us. But you cant put like 20 pieces of paper through at once lol! Its really made for one or two pieces at a time. If you need a high-volume shredder dont get this one!
It has a very small opening for the paper to be placed in so you dont have to worry about your fingers getting caught in it.
While paper shredders are necessarily for offices to destroy confidential documents, they are also good for office parties because you can use the confetti to throw in your coworkers face and hope they dont get mad at you.
