Housing very weak

Pros: Cutter works well with medium workload
Cons: Housing is very weak and broke with minimal usage.
I use my shredder at home so it has light to medium workloads. The cutter mechanism seems to work well and the only problem was when I was removing the basket the weight of the unit is to much for the housing and the four #6 screws holding the housing together snapped with the small plastic molding. Who engineered this thing? I finally tossed it after the motor over heated. Lasted less than 2 years with once a week usage.
