It's OK for home and personal use but definitely not for an office

Pros: Shreds staples and paper clips, easy to use, doesn't take up a lot of space.
Cons: Requires frequent emptying, jams up easily, shredded documents are very easily reassembled.
The Bottom Line:
If you have a large number of documents to shred or you need documents shredded so that your privacy, and personal information is safe, I would not recommend this shredder.
My office required a shredder for sensitive documents that would be easy to use. I looked around and found the P700-2.
I gave it a try and found out very quickly that it really is not a good shredder for an office setting. See, we have documents in our office with people's personal information including Social Security numbers, private numbers, account numbers, etc.
After shredding the first few files worth of documents, I found that it was not adequate for what we needed. Most of the documents I shredded had to be cut with scissors and and the different pieces disposed of in separate garbage bags.
I also found that every document I shredded was extremely easily reassembled.
I also discovered that it jams up frequently and I had to disassemble it a few times already.
The trash can fills up very fast and needs to be emptied very frequently. Not efficient for large amounts of shredding.
Bottom line is this, it is OK for very small shredding projects when security is not the issue. If you have large amounts of shredding or you shred documents with personal and private information, avoid this product or you will be sorry that you didn't.
