My wife & I were looking to replace our old Black & Decker toaster oven which had cost about $50. Talk about sticker shock. We bought this unit after reading the reviews here & also because America's Test Kitchen had top rated this unit. We had already returned two other units by different manufacturers without even using them due to problems with design. We have had it for two months now & it does everything great. We were surprised how well it toasts bread & bagels. No experimentation, just followed the directions in the instruction book. The few times my wife has used it to cook other food she has been pleased. I also like the double handle on the door. You can open & close the door by holding it from the top rather than from the front. Keeps your hand away from the top edge of the hot door. One thing I do not like is it is hard to line up the grooves with the shelve when putting a shelve back into the oven.
