The five megapixel EX-Z57 sports a 3x optical zoom lens and an oversized 2.7-inch LCD screen, the largest Casio has ever stuck on the back of a digital camera. They had to ditch the optical viewfinder to make room for that larger LCD, but they claim that despite the extra two-tenths of an inch, the battery life on the EX-Z57 is just as good as that of the EX-Z55.

What a Small Wonder This Is!

Pros: Small size that shoots like the big guys.
Cons: Extended manufacturer warranty is expensive, so we'll just buy another one.
The Bottom Line:
400 shots per charge, with the 1GB card you are all set. Excellent for vacationing. Red eye cure with the double flash.
A special at Sam's Club for $211 down from $249. Husband is legally blind & cannot see print on majority of digital camera. Sony wants $500 for their N1 with 3" LCD & Casino Z57 has 2.7 LCD and large print for him to read. HAPPY DAY!
The new EX-Z57 and its credit card size, produces beautifully detailed images and is very easy to use. A high performance CCD and 5.7-million pixels of resolution provide sharp images, while the 3-segment telescoping 3X optical zoom lens provides plenty of resolution. This is truly amazing. Even has red eye cure with a double flash.
The EX-Z57 allows you to take up to 400 shots (continuous recording) on a single charge. With the 1 GB card you are set to shoot away. Its 2.7-inch LCD monitor screen , up to 485 shots. It provides a clear view of subjects as you compose images for recording and it even has a video. The layout is visible even to the person you are with, it is that clear. Great for a visually impaired person to use.
For its small price to go with its small size, this is one to run for...... just pop in your pocket as it is a bit larger than a credit card.
