I'm always on the lookout for new cat litters, and had heard good things about Ever Clean. I bought a box at the local pet store and gave it a try. This litter is the best quality of any (clay) litter I've ever used.

I prefer litter to be unscented, which is why I chose this version of Ever Clean. Cats noses are much more sensitive than ours, so something "fresh" to us would be overwhelming to a cat. This litter is indeed unscented, and a lot less dusty than other brands. It clumps solidly and is a very fine texture.

There are two negative things I can say about this litter. One is the price. You'll pay several dollars more per box than other brands. Two is that you have to buy it at a pet store. I've never seen Ever Clean in a discount or warehouse type of store, so you'll need to plan your purchases. However, when it comes to price, I'm personally willing to spend a little more for a better product.

The bottom line, of course, is that the cats like it too. You could spend all the money in the world on litter, but if the cats don't like it, they won't use it. So two paws up here!
