Pros: Super soft and easy to adjust and install.
Cons: The buckle system pinches chubby legs.
The Bottom Line:
Perfect for thin babies. For chubby babies, I would recommend finding a seat with a different buckle because this one will pinch chubby legs, even if you are careful!
When I went out to buy a new car seat for my daughter, this looked like the perfect seat. It was super soft, fit in out truck very tight and securely, was reasonably priced and appeared to be very safe, it even matched the colors of our truck! The strap system is easy to adjust and the seat is easy to buckle in, even without using the latch system for families who own older vehicles. The seat is easy to take the cover and strap systems off of to launder and easy to put back on (please, hang dry only, if you dry them in the drier, they won't fit back on the seat!) But once my daughter started to grow, it became very apparent that the buckle system was not designed for chubby legged babies and toddlers! She became terrified of this seat because no matter how hard we tried not to, her legs still got pinched a few times! I ended up having to replace the seat because she would cry just seeing this seat yet was fine with getting into her other car seat she had in my van. If your children run skinny this would be a great seat, but, if your babies are chubby, look elsewhere!
