Get professional results in your home with up to 2 hours of powerful steam passing from the stainless steel steam generator to the iron. Dry steam under pressure will cut ironing time in half. Powerful penetrating steam makes ironing easy with little arm presure required. Professional dry cleaning results are possible on silks and delicate fabrics using dry steam and on cottons and wools using humid steam. Minimize

I'm gonna burst some steam right into my wrinkles!

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: great steam, hot iron!

Cons: no timed auto shut off, " O " rings needs replaced frequently.

The Bottom Line:
Great for long periods of ironing, not for single item ironing.

I got this iron a year ago. The orange light never worked when the steam was ready, but since I bought it brand new from a friend who bought it by mistake and didn't want it, I got a great deal!

I am a professional sewer and this iron is one of the best irons I own next to my standard rowenta irons.

I also teach in my studio and my students all fight to use this iron.

I get at least 2 hours of steam use before having to add more water.

The only problem is the " O " ring under the water cap does not last very long and they only give you one to replace it with. So I went to my local hardware store and bought the orange garden hose rubber washers and it works just fine.

I guess from all the heat it generates, the rubber tends to wear down fast on the threaded knob where the water goes.

Helpful hint to all,,,,,since this iron does not have an automatic shut off, I suggest plugging it into a power strip and on the same power strip plug in a lamp or some type of clamp on lamp above your ironing surface if you can. this way here, when you see the lamp on you will remember to shut the strip off and not leave the iron on.

I am pleased with the iron. especially when having to use the steam to fuse interfacing and getting wrinkles out of drapes and suits in the vertical position.

After a year of usage, the holding dock where the iron rests, tends to slip. So I bought a silicone professional pad and cut it to shape the iron dock to set the iron on so it won't slip.

Great for silks also. Do not apply full weight of the iron, lightly glide it over silk with steam and it comes out awesome!
