Pros: Great steam, makes ironing or pressing (for us sewers) so much faster! Light weight.
Cons: There are no cons. I am very pleased with the iron.
I owned a Bernina Steam Generator Iron which cost almost 3 times the price. I bought it because I was under this misguided impression that it would be a better iron. What a mistake that was. After several repairs, it finally became more cost effective to purchase a new iron rather than have the old one (2 years old) repaired again. I bought the EuroPro 1800 EP8001 iron. What a surprise! Not only was it so much cheaper....it was so much better. No spitting, more steam, lighter and easier to maneuver. Boy, am I glad my other iron broke! :o)
