I was a Theatrical Costumer and have used professional dry-cleaning equipment for many years. THIS IS THE BEST personal use iron I have ever owned. Fast, excellent steam, excellent results... cuts ironing time dramatically, and it is very reliable. I have had it for years and will use no other iron. It has enough weight to smooth out the coarsest of fabrics without being too heavy, yet handles delicates beautifully. For finer fabrics, use a pressing cloth and a lower setting. The steam is very substantial and works on the board or with garments hanging. For best results I recommend a perforated ironing board (one with many little with holes), a board pad and a cover. A padded ironing board makes this iron fly.
