Pros: Excellent copy from scanned newsprint.
Cons: Instructions...except for basic setup, totally inadequate.
This is the most confusing product to learn to operate that I have ever used, bar none. There is no printed manual of operation, either in print or available via download. The closest thing to a manual, other than the "Start Here" setup foldout... is the documentation via software...click and hope you get the specific instruction/s you are looking for. I have yet to get from a negative to a finished print. Took awhile to even get a first plain vanilla scanned newsprint copy. The copy was the best I have obtained from a scanner.
I purchased this product based on an excellent review in Consumer Reports. If I ever master the vertical do-it-yourself learning curve, I am sure this will be an excellent product just based on the very high quality copy of newsprint that I have obtained.
