Excellent scans, long learning curve

Pros: Very good scans. Comes with Photoshop elements version 2
Cons: Confusing and inadequate instructions, long learning curve.
I have started to use this scanner to get old slides into my computer and it gives very good results once one has figured it out. But the instructions are very inadequate. The software wanted to crop important parts of the slides out. I eventually stumbled on how to do it, but something this basic should have been clearly written in the help screens that are the only "manual" that comes with the scanner.
