Pros: Size, picture quality, ergonomics, great zoom.
Cons: Short battery life, poor low-light capabilities.
We used this camcorder while on vacation and filmed 7.5 hours of video. The camera worked flawlessly and as advertised. It fits the hand nicely and most controls are easy to reach. The Canon battery would only last for 27 minutes, but I purchased a 1800 maH battery that lasted all day.
Low light capabilities are marginal, but I knew this before purchase. The still picture function was an added bonus, but we still used a digital camera for better pictures. The recorded sound was of good quality. The 20x zoom is fantastic.
