Skip the cheap steam based capuccino machines, buy this pump based Breville. You'll love the Coffee it produces!!

We purchased a new Breville ESP8XL after having a Little Krups steam pressure unit. It's a while new world having a pump driven espresso maker, it's so intuitive to use and I think my children could make a Barista style milk foam the first time. The Krups unit was so difficult to get consistant repeatable results that I was not really into making espresso and capuccino at home. After buying this unit, (I wasn't prepared to spend $400+ like some people were telling me) I have to say that I made my best espresso yet (first try)

The industrial design on this unit is excllent, it's a bit squarish, but all the lines are clean, there is a "warming" plate on the top of the unit, which is a sincely machined stainless casting. The front of the machine has 2 controls total, it couldn't be simpler 1) an on switch and 2) a dial that switches from brewing to hold to steam. that's it, couldn't be simpler!

The "Froth enhancer" really does make frothing milk simple just switch to steam, and plung it into your cold jug of milk. move it around a bit and BAM barista style froth!!

Excellent machine, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get serious about making good coffee at home!
