Cons: Complex, images are a bit soft at default settings (but users can crank up sharpening)

Cons: Indoor WB; lack of WB, metering feedback; craving for expensive lenses; conspicuous; tricky 2-second timer.

If you're ready to get serious about photography and move to a DSLR, this camera will deliver top quality for years to come. It's an absolute delight to shoot with.

Cons: Poor indoor white balance. Heft & bulk might be a negative to some.

Pros: FAAAAAAAAAAAAST camera, large buffers, 5 fps, exposure control!, 3 shutter modes
Cons: Expensive, Canon tries to limit third-party products, no preview mode, no stitch mode
Bottom Line:
Torn between a Rebel & 20D? Save for the 20D now there's also 30D. All canon EF/EF-S lenses work with this body. Digic image sensor superior to other types.
