The EOS 20D and Canon f3.5-5.6/18mm-55mm EF-S zoom kit
Pros: 8 megapixels, DIGIC II, very fast, full manual exposure options, excellent battery life Cons: Complex, images are a bit soft at default settings (but users can crank up sharpening) Bottom Line: It is so sweet!
Pros: Low-light response; fast shutter; continuous shooting; accurate focus, color; fast startup; dual dials+mini-joystick; low noise. Cons: Indoor WB; lack of WB, metering feedback; craving for expensive lenses; conspicuous; tricky 2-second timer. Bottom Line: A real camera
Pros: Fast, fast, fast. Excellent image quality. Easy to use controls. SLR. Cons: Poor indoor white balance. Heft & bulk might be a negative to some. Bottom Line: WOW! What a camera
Pros: FAAAAAAAAAAAAST camera, large buffers, 5 fps, exposure control!, 3 shutter modes Cons: Expensive, Canon tries to limit third-party products, no preview mode, no stitch mode Bottom Line: First 2 20d's were defective, 3rd time is a charm.
Pros: Fast! Solid feel. Wide variety of available lenses. Cons: Quality control is TERRIBLE. Small dim color LCD display. Heavy. Bottom Line: 2 words: Kick A55
Pros: WOW... with everything but the lens. But for the price, still think its really good. Cons: occasional freeze up on the auto focus Bottom Line: Very functional, forgiving pro camera.
Pros: Fast, super high quality photos, EF lens compatible, easy to use. Cons: pricey, no memory card included $$$ Bottom Line: WOW! This is the best camera I have ever owned! A dream!
Pros: Fast! 5 frames per second, second generation DIGIC II processer, excellent sharpness and quality Cons: Price, could have a better lens with the kit Bottom Line: Best ProSumer Digital SLR out - Nikon better do something quick!
Pros: Works With All EF Canon Lenses, Long Battery Life, Great Support, Cons: Built in Flash can cast shadows. Have to invest in lenses for Pro level. Bottom Line: Ah ... the Canon 20D
Pros: Amazing control over your shots, nice weight, easy to use. Cons: If anything, the lens. But it's actually not that bad. Bottom Line: |
