A rear-drive sedan with a design completely opposite that of its previous design philosophy. This car has long hood, low profile and tons of V8 power courtesy of an all-new Hemi powerhouse. A lower V6 model may also be offered, along with possible coupe and all-wheel-drive variations. Of course, it also packs numerous Mercedes Benz parts.

Pros: Smooth, Looks, Gauges, interior, exterior,
Cons: NONE!
The Bottom Line:
Loved it, buy it, great looks, great MPG, super comfortable, cold AC
We just got back from driving the base model charger (a rental with 6,000 miles) from Virginia to South Carolina, a total of 1,200 miles over a 4 day period. The car is black and looks great. I have owned and currently own several nice cars but this is the first car I've drven a long distance and did not have lower back problem caused by a previous back injury 25 years ago. I got out of the car after over 7 hours and not a twinge. I am surprised and impressed. The car drove like a dream, and was super quite and very responsive. I am car crazy with muscle cars and sports cars and this car made me feel like I was part of the car, the gauges are awesome and look especially cool at night. The cruise control is very smooth, nice stereo, no real bells or whistles on the base model. The gas mileage was much better then expected with the base v6 getting over 30 MPG on average (I used 87 the whole time). I could have easily have made the 485 miles on one tank, but due to the current gas crises right now due to hurricane Katrina(Sep 2005) we chose to fill up on the one stop each way. The bottom line is I would buy this car and will be test driving the more powerful RT model in the future.
