Dodge Grand Caravan is a great family vehicle

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Roomy, great on gas, no breakdowns

The Bottom Line:
Great vehicle, trouble free, lots of space, good price, stow and go seats are a great asset and easy to use.

Author's Review
Three years ago I was in the market for a car. I do a lot of driving between my job and frequent trips to visit my parents three hours away. I was a few months away from getting married and adding a husband and stepdaughter to a family that had been only my son and I. We also planned to have a child of our own after we got married. I needed a vehicle that would be large enough for our growing family. We decided on the Grand Caravan because it had the size we needed at a lower price than some of the other vans we looked at. It comfortably fits seven, although the back row is a bit cramped for adults. The stowaway seats have been great when we moved to a larger home. We were able to move furniture with no difficulty. We even fit two futon couches in the back without having to leave the back open. When the seats are being used, the stowaway area is great for storing strollers, folding chairs, etc. It is good on gas. I can do three hours of highway driving on less than half a tank of gas. I bought the car brand new and have already put over 50,000 miles on it. I haven't had any problems with it other than normal wear and tear.
