The Viper returns for the 2000 model year with minimal changes. New feature highlights include a child seat tether anchor, an On-board Refueling Recovery System (ORVR) that reduces fuel vapor emissions and a revised ACR (American Club Racer) Group. The ACR Group now features a new performance oil pan, dynamic suspension and a new nameplate. Also new is exterior color Viper Steel Gray. The Viper is available in two models: RT/10 roadster and GTS coupe. The Viper features the only V-10 in its class boasting 450 hp and 490 lb.-ft. of torque coupled to a 6-speed manual overdrive transmission. Options include silver stripes on the GTS and a removable hardtop and snap-on tonneau cover on the RT/10. A Connolly Leather Group is also optional.
