The 1999 Ram is available in three models - Regular Cab, Club Cab and Quad Cab. New features for models equipped with the Sport Appearance Package include new front bumper, fascia, grille and clear quad headlamps. The Ram pickup offers a variety of payload and towing options in combination with various bed lengths and powertrains. A newly designed interior features easier access to control panel and a standard passenger air bag with deactivation switch. Standard interior features include cup holders, map pockets and coat hooks. For 1999, the 4X4 tailgate graphics have been updated and the valence panel is no longer available with the Sport Package. Solar Yellow and Forest Green are new exterior colors for 1999.

Pros: Reliability, ergonomics, excellent fuel mileage (with the Cummins diesel), beautiful design, low maintenance
Cons: Some say that the auto tranny goes bad (I have not had that experience yet).
