I like my HomeDock, other than the remote.

Pros: Works with all iPod models, all in one dock solution
Cons: Poorly labeled, poor quality remote
The Bottom Line:
I'd recommend this for people wanting to use an iPod frequently with a home stereo/home theater - but word is, a "deluxe" model is coming soon.
I recently purchased a 60GB iPod video, and decided to get the DLO HomeDock with it. It seemed to be more sensible than Apple's alternative of buying multiple pieces for about $120 to achieve the same functionality.
I attached it to my home stereo and TV set, and I get great sound out of it when listening to music. I'm really not that interested in viewing photo slideshows with it, but I've watched a few videos - and that works fine for me too. (You have to make sure you've enabled the "video out" functionality on your iPod first though, or you'll only get a blank screen with audio when you try to watch!)
Another bonus of this dock is it allows iPods to dock in it even if they're wrapped in most "skins". Apple's docks won't do this, since the "skin" around the base of the iPod makes it slightly too thick to seat properly in the dock's indentation.
My biggest complaint about it would have to be the remote. It's too small and cheaply made for starters, but more importantly, doesn't have great range and the buttons are poorly labeled. It's confusing to use, and the functions used for working with audio are different than for video.
It's a minor point, but I also dislike the big, round LED light on the front of the dock. It seems to light up blue when it's plugged in but on "standby", and changes to green when it's turned "on". The green looks obnoxious and clashes with the otherwise sleek design of the whole thing. I'd prefer it not light at all in "standby" and light blue when it's "on".
I see a lot of complaints about humming or buzzing noises coming from owners' HomeDocks - but I haven't had this issue with my setup. I wouldn't be surprised if it depends on the model/type of iPod attached, as much as anything? (Best Buy was demoing a HomeDock at the time I decided to buy it, and I didn't hear any strange noises on theirs while watching a movie on it. But they had the same video iPod model that I'm using.)
