Dell OptiPlex GX110 Managed PC systems are high-speed, expandable personal computers designed around the Intel Pentium III microprocessor. Each computer system uses a high-performance Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) design that allows you to configure the computer system to your initial requirements and then add Dell-supported upgrades as necessary. These systems also support the Industry-Standard Architecture (ISA) bus for older expansion devices, depending upon the installed riser board. Minimize

The Dell Optiplex GX110 is a great PC. Its durable, dependable, and really easy to upgrade. I purchased mine used for $200 4 months ago, and have upgraded it. Mine is the mini-tower model, the GX100 comes in other case factors, but this is the most upgradeable. It has two 5.25" external drive bays, 1 internal 3.5 HD bay, and 6 PCI slots (unless yours comes with a sound card or modem then its 5). The specs are a 667MHz Pentium III Processor, 64 (or 128) MB of RAM expandable to 512MB, 10 GIG HD, 48x CD-ROM (and/or a CD-RW Drive, ZIP 100) standard Floppy, Built in 10/100 NIC, On-Board Video with 4MB RAM, and Built in Intel Audio. The case is bulky, but its almost tool-less. With a push of a button, the side panel pops-up and flips open. The power supply also flips up for easier access to the Motherboard. The front bezel pops out with another push of a button, and the extra drive rails are in the open bays. The PCI Riser board pulls out with a pull of a level, which makes it easier to install cards. Their is a way to lock the case, with a hook on the back. There is also this really cool BIOS feature that tells you if your case has been opened! There is some drawbacks to the machine. The side panel is sometimes hard to get back on, and the Intrusion Dectection gets annoying if you don't reset it after you open the case. Performance wise, its a great machine for Photoshop, Word Processing, Internet, and even as a Network Server. This machine has great dependablity, and I would recommend it to anyone. This is a Great Dell.
