This is Not What it seems

Pros: User friendly computer, adequate speed.  It has been reliable and is easy to transport.

Cons: The keyboard is black so you need plenty of light to see it. 

The Bottom Line: 
Dell is a reliable company and I have had excellent products from them.  I have never used tech support, but buying on-line is easy.

I love Dell products.  I buy Dell products.  The Dell computers I have purchased have been the best computers I have owned.  In the past, I have owned two Gateway PCs, a Toshiba Laptop, an IBM clone PC, a Hewlett Packard PC, two E Machine PCs and a Dell PC and Laptop.  The Dell products have out performed all of the others put together.

I bought a Dell computer because my nephew had worked for Dell and he told me that no matter what price range I purchased, I would be getting a superior product.  I believed him because he no longer worked for Dell and so he didn't have to pump up the product.

The only thing that irritates me about my Dell products is I have to buy other dell products for the computers because nothing else is compatible with them.  It makes it more expensive when I need something like a new mouse.  It is smart on Dell's behalf because people who own Dell products have to keep buying from the company.

The link to Amazon for this Dell Computer is not the computer but the battery.  I wanted to mention that because I clicked on the link because if the computer was really $148.00 that would have been a steal.  Much to my disappointment, it wasn't the computer at all.

One thing I would change about my Dell Inspirpion Notebook would be the battery.  I have a three hour batttery and that is not a very long battery life.  I would at least double the battery capability because a three hour battery doesn't actually last three hours.

Since most of what I do is web surfing and writing blogs and reviews, the 2 gigs of memory is more than sufficient.  It wouldn't be if I wanted to use this machine as a photo laptop which is why I bought it in the first place.  I am looking to buy a more expensive laptop with a lot more memory for the business. 

So far, it has loaded pages quickly and I have not experienced any "hang up" or frozen pages.  I have had the computer for about 14 months.

When I wanted to buy a mini for my daughter, I went to Dell to purchase it.  I feel that Dell gives the customer the best price for the best computer.
