What a WASTE!

Cons: Both I had went out and would not even turn on.

The Bottom Line: 
I wouldn't buy this item. It's lovely and a wonderful idea, but it has too many bugs.

I bought this coffee/cappucino/expresso maker for myself for Christmas of 2004. I made cappucino in it about 4 times before it stopped working. At that time, the coffee pot and the expresso part wouldn't work. They would not even turn on and definately wouldn't make coffee, but the clock still worked, and I did like the clock on the front and the ease of use.

I liked that I could make 2 single cups or one cup of cappucino. This feature was very easy to use as well just requiring that you change the piece below the basket for expresso. The froth maker was very easy to use also. You pour the milk into the top, like you would water for coffee, then it does everything on its own. It is dispensed below with the turn of a knob on the side. The problem is, what good is it to me if it doesn't work?

The 2 cup part made 2 small, and I emphasize small, cups and the one cup part made an average sized cup. The coffee pot itself made 12 cups.

It did work quickly and was easy to clean. It came with a scoop measurer for the coffee and I thought that was neat. It had its own built in coffee filter so I didn't need to buy any. I took it back to the store and exchanged it because I really liked it, but the next one had the same problem. So, I decided to just return it and find something else.
