Pros: Sturdy, attractive, easy foot release, clear anti-bite rail guards, adjustable deck, variety of colors, affordable.

Cons: Latch can be noisy.

I would highly recommend this crib. It has served me very well through two babies. You can spend a lot more money, but you don't need to.

I bought this crib when I was expecting my first child, who is now four. I was looking for an affordable sturdy crib with an adjustable mattress deck. I took a risk and bought this one online after getting some good word of mouth reviews of it. I couldn't ask for a better one. The adjustable mattress levels made it comfortable and safe to use for a newborn or a two year old. I would never buy a crib that didn't have the foot release, it makes putting a child down so much easier!

My first child used this crib for two years. We took it apart and put it back together again twice, and my one year old is sleeping in it now, four years after we bought it. It still looks clean and fresh, shows no wear at all, and is still as sturdy and functional as new.

I am reasonably handy, but am much more so now after four years of assembling child toys and equipment! But I did not find this crib difficult to assemble. It is easier with two people, just because the first person can hold up one end while the second person screws the other end together. The instructions were simple and clear, the diagrams were good, there aren't too many pieces, and it all screwed together with an allen wrench.

Both I and my husband have taken this crib apart and put it back together by ourselves, and I have unscrewed the mattress spring deck to lower and raise it. Again, you can do this without help, although it goes faster with two!

It can be tricky to raise and lock the side quietly. If you push in the foot release it is easier, but I have sometimes thought it was latched, lifted on it to check, and gotten a loud snapping noise! I don't know if other cribs are quieter in this way - when my babies were tiny and couldn't roll over, I would sometimes just leave the side down rather than risk waking them. These days I am better at easing the latch shut with the help of the foot release.
