Super versatile and easy to use! If you are into capturing video professionally or just transferring your home movies to DVD, this is the device for you.

Easily connects to your computer through a firewire (1394 bus).

Accepts digital video (DV or iLink), Digital 8, Video 8, Hi-8, VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, and just about any other source of analog or digital audio and video.

Plenty of connectors:
Firewire in and out, S-Video in and out, composite video in and out, and stereo audio in and out.

If you are looking for an economical ad reliable way to get into video editing, this is the Video Converter/Capture Device for you.

I have made over a dozen videos from Hi-8 and VHS tapes and the results are fantastic. Because the signal is converted to digital by the DAC-100, there is no signal loss on your final output DVD, tape, or whatever you choose to use.

Performance is excellent, I have not had any dropped frames in any of my projects (my older Pinnacle input board dropped them all the time.)

You cannot find a better way of getting your video material onto your computer for editing at this price!
