Run out and get one. It just works too well. Spring for the stainless since I have seen both the plastic and stainless...the ss seems more substantial.

I read all the reviews posted here and was a little gun-shy about the toasting quality...no worries here...If you toast in the center of the oven, and turn up the darkness level 1 or 2 notches, it makes great toast, at least as good as any stand alone toaster I have ever had.

It is a great looking unit (I got the stainless TOB-175)and pretty small outside for the capacity inside (9-10 inch baking pans are no problem). I have had so much fun making cakes, baking frozen unbaked Costco Pizza, corn bread, heating frozen dinners, etc. etc. etc.

The convection feature is the way to go and I use it almost always. It definitely cuts down on baking times by 10-20% and requires about 10-20% less heat. I adjust all my recipes down by 10-15% in temperature and baking time and it seems to always work well. The microwave is starting to get dusty as the crisper results from convection baking can't be beat. Yes, I still use the nuker when I am in a hurry, but the Cuisinart is fast enough for most of my baking.

This is truly the best toaster oven I have seen, and I am a picky person when it comes to new toys. I researched so many but picked this one and ordered it online since most lesser stores don't carry the stainless model. I have never written a review on anything, but this product warranted it. You will love this oven.
