     The Cuisinart Mini Prep Food Processor is a kitchen gadget that I believe many cooks, beginner or pro, need. The reason I believe this small appliance is essential because it cuts down much of the prep work that needs to be done in a recipe.  From its small size and ability to chop a wide variety of foods, you really can’t go wrong. 
     This gadget can be used to chop a whole array of items from garlic to celery. It takes less than one minute to feasibly chop whatever you need prepping. The amount of time you save during the prep work of your recipe allows you to either spend more time on the actual cooking of the meal or finishing the recipe faster.  Also, the food processor is easy to assemble and dishwasher safe. You must attach the lid, and then twist it so that the lip of the lid slides into the small cut out on the top of the food processor base.  Ensure that you hear the click when you slide the lid in place. If the lid is not secured fully, the food processor will not start. Cleanup is easy because you can put the lid, the cup, and the blade in the dishwasher. The parts come out with minimal force; the blade is sharp- but won’t slice through your skin if you gently brush against it by accident. 
     For the small price you pay for the Cuisinart Mini Prep Food Processor, it’s worth the convenience it gives you when prepping your food.
