My mini-prep plus wore out today after about 5 years of use...I'd say that I got my money's worth although I plan to upgrade when I replace it. This would be a great starter for a student setting up their first kitchen or someone with very limited space for appliances.

Excellent for small jobs! I used it all the time for salad dressing, pesto, salsa, and sauces.

Better quality than others in the same price range.

Small footprint = takes up only a little counter space.

Worked well for about 5 years.

But...

Very limited capacity

A little difficult to clean well without a dishwasher

Limited power and precision (chopping size is uneven)

Smells a little hot when used for more than a few minutes.

Very Noisy!!
