I've noticed that the 'con' that's repeated here most often is that the Mini-Prep is not for big jobs. That's very true, but the size and name should already make that obvious. The Mini-Prep isn't designed as a replacement for a big food processor, but as an alternative to dragging out, and dirtying the big one for a small job.

I love using mine for finely chopping fresh herbs. It does the job much neater and faster than I could by hand. It's also great for chopping small amounts of nuts, and blending soft ingredients like butter.

The blade has remained sharp and strong. The cup and blade are dishwasher-safe, making cleaning super easy. It's so small that you can easily stash it in a cabinet, or even keep it out on the counter, as I do. Assembling the cup and blade takes only seconds.

The Mini-Prep is something no kitchen should be without out. Perhaps its most important use is the time it saves you.
