The Bottom Line:
I'd definitely recommend this blender to anyone.
I bought this blender at a department store after breaking a cheap plastic-jar blender and resolving never to deal with that hassle again. This blender has worked better than I expected.
The super-powerful motor really does mix things up well. Not only that, but the ice crush button actually works - the ice comes out smooth and nice for frozen drinks and smoothies and such.
I also appreciate the pulse button on the front and the dial-up speed selector, so you can start out at a low setting and slowly turn up the power to get a range of consistencies.
The glass blender jar easily unscrews from the base, making it easy to clean up. You do want to be sure not to lose the rubber ring from the base, though. Without it, you'll have awful leakage problems.
