CoverGirl Lash Blast Waterproof Mascara ~ 830 Black (09775830BLK)
I usually purchase higher end mascaras like Dior or YSl faux cils. They run about $30 a tube. When I decided to put myself on a beauty budget I was in search of a drugstore mascara that could deliver like the more expensive brands. Last blast is that mascara. It's about $20 cheaper at $8-9 a tube. The packaging is somewhat obnoxious. A big orange tube that's kind of awkward to use. Easy to mess up and smear if you're in a hurry. It is a rubber bristle brush that seems to prevent clumping. The bristles are not long at all...at first you'll think "How is this going to separate my lashes?" but somehow it does. The consistency of the mascara is not too watery but not dry at all. I've actually had my current tube for over 3 months and it hasn't dried out. I use the water proof version to prevent smudges because I have very oily lids. Overall it is a great mascara that gives a false lash effect...very volumizing and lengthening. No need for a comb afterwards because it's also separating and clump free. ALSO doesn't have the rose floral smell that Diorshow has. Which is a HUGE plus to me!
