Cosmos, still relevant and entertaining almost 30 years on

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Narrative style, challenging but not overwhelming scientific information

Cons: The updates from 1990 for some episodes--distracting at best.

Bottom Line:

I recommend this series without reservation.  Dr. Sagan's style makes the information more interesting than the subjects tend to get from other sources.

Carl Sagan is my hero, see why.

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Cons: Poor transfer causes texturization in dark areas

Bottom Line:
Where else does astronomy get its day in the sun but in Carl Sagan's Cosmos. Spotty video transfer doesn't kill the enjoyment I get from this cherished DVD set. Read More at Epinions.com
